About us
Our history
Demographic change and medical progress have significantly increased the demand for nursing staff in hospitals and care facilities in recent years – and this development will continue.
The number of people in need of care is steadily rising. According to the Federal Statistical Office, as of December 2021 there were already around 5.0 million people receiving long-term care benefits in Germany. Compared to 2019, this represents an increase of 834,000 people – roughly 20% more within just two years.
Against this backdrop, Navarathne Nursing Solutions (NNS) supports healthcare institutions in Germany with sustainable recruitment strategies. Together with our clients, we develop tailored solutions to successfully meet the growing demand for qualified nursing staff in the long term.
We place great emphasis on the integration of our candidates into German culture. Only those who feel comfortable in their new environment can work with motivation and joy in the nursing profession. This creates a reliable foundation for satisfaction and long-term success – both for healthcare institutions and for international professionals.

Our Guiding Principles
-
WHO Recommendations
In 2006, the World Health Organization identified a critical shortage of healthcare professionals in 57 countries and advised against active recruitment from these states. We take this recommendation seriously and do not recruit from the affected countries. -
Human Rights
-
Since 1948, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights has stood as a global commitment to dignity and equality. We align our work with these principles and act according to the international human rights code.
-
IRIS Standard
We follow the principles of the IRIS Standard for Ethical Recruitment, based on international labor and human rights instruments. This standard defines what fair and transparent recruitment means in practice – and how compliance can be demonstrated. -
Sustainability
-
We are committed to long-term impact. In our training facilities in Sri Lanka, we prepare potential candidates for nursing careers, thereby fostering quality, responsibility, and sustainable development.
